Pingshuo coal gangue power generation project is located in Beiping Industrial Park, Pinglu District, Shuozhou City, Shanxi Province. In this project, two 660,000-kilowatt supercritical circulating fluidized bed units will be constructed and desulfurization, denitrification devices will be constructed simultaneously.

After the project is completed, it will become the world's first coal gangue power generation project which using a 660MW supercritical circulating fluidized bed boiler, and it is also the world's largest circulating fluidized bed project.
